A – Exempt from the visa procedures

Citizens of several countries are exempt from visa procedures to enter Morocco. Please visit this website to consult the list of countries whose nationals do not need an entry visa to Morocco. If your country is not listed, see section B.

For those countries requiring an Electronic Travel Authorization for Morocco (eTA) (Congo, Guinea Conkary, and Mali), the procedure is detailed here.

B – Visa required, country of residence has Moroccan diplomatic presence

Citizens of countries who are subject to visa procedures to enter Morocco and where Morocco has a diplomatic presence in their country will need to apply for a visa through the normal process. In accordance with the provisions of the Moroccan legislation on the entry and stay of foreigners in Morocco, foreign nationals whose countries are subject to visa procedures must be in possession of their travel documents as well as the required visas to access Morocco, issued by the Moroccan authorities, after payment of the required fees.

Participants from countries subject to visa procedures are invited to click on the following link and enter your country to verify whether or not your country has diplomatic representation. https://www.acces-maroc.ma/#/

If you are subject to visa procedures and the Government of Morocco has an Embassy or Consulate present in your country, you must apply for a travel visa.

C – Visa required, country of residence DOES NOT HAVE Moroccan diplomatic presence

If there is a Moroccan Embassy or Consulate in your country of residence, you must follow the normal visa procedures listed above.

For citizens of countries who are subject to visa procedures to enter Morocco and where Morocco does not have a diplomatic presence in their country, they will be eligible for a visa at the airport upon entry into Morocco if the required procedures are followed.

Exceptionally, the Moroccan Security Services can issue free short-stay visas to delegates from countries with no Moroccan diplomatic representation. If you are from one of these countries and have registered already, you will receive an invitation letter from the Organizing Committee authorizing your travel to Morocco.
