The regional meeting venue is the Palm Plaza Hôtel & Spa – Marrakech, located at Avenue Du 7éme Art, Agdal, 40000 Marrakech, Morocco. There are a number of hotels nearby or within short driving distance, including those listed below. Please contact them directly to book accommodations:

TRANSPORTATION

The Government of Morocco will provide shuttle transportation from both the Marrakech Airport (Marrakech Menara Airport/ Aéroport Marrakech Ménara/ مطار مراكش المنارة (RAK) and Casablanca Airport (Mohammed V International Airport/ Aéroport international Mohammed V/ مطار محمد الخامس الدولي (CMN) before and after the event, as well as within Marrakech during the days of the event. Please see the details below.

Transport between Airports in Morocco and Hotels in Marrakech

    • Shuttles are provided from the Marrakech and Casablanca Airports on select days before and after the event. A reception booth will be available at both airports to help direct you to the shuttles.
    • Marrakech Airport (Marrakech Menara Airport/ Aéroport Marrakech Ménara/ مطار مراكش المنارة (RAK) –  Shuttles will run on a two (2) hour interval on the following dates beginning at 8:30 AM and ending at midnight (00:00) on Sunday October 30, 2022 and Monday October 31, 2022.
    • Casablanca Airport (Mohammed V International Airport/ Aéroport international Mohammed V/ مطار محمد الخامس الدولي (CMN) – Shuttles will run on a four (4) hour interval on the following dates beginning at 8:30 AM and ending at midnight (00:00) on Sunday October 30, 2022 and Monday October 31, 2022.
    • The shuttles will make a stop at the following hotels, as well as others based on participant needs. 
      • Labranda Rose Aqua Park
      • Palm Plaza Hotel
      • Savoy Le Grand
  • Shuttles will also depart from various Marrakech hotels on November 3, 4, and 5 to return to Marrakech Airport (RAK) or Casablanca Airport (CMN). Exact shuttle times will be communicated the week of the event. 
  • To help the Government team plan the shuttles and/or request transportation to/from a different hotel, please email your arrival and departure information (date, time, and airport of your flights) to ogpmorocco2022@mmsp.gov.ma. 

Transportation within Marrakech

  • On the dates of the Regional Meeting – November 1-3, 2022 shuttles will be available at the following hotels, as well as others based on participant needs:
    • Labranda Rose Aqua Park
    • Palm Plaza Hotel
    • Savoy Le Grand
  • Again, to help the Government team plan the shuttles and/or request transportation to/from a different hotel, please email your arrival and departure information (date, time, and airport of your flights) to ogpmorocco2022@mmsp.gov.ma.

We take the health and safety of our participants very seriously and will commit to following the host’s national guidelines throughout the event. We encourage participants to take precautions while traveling or participating in the event, including testing yourself for COVID-19 beforehand, maintaining social distancing, using sanitiser, and wearing a mask if it makes you more comfortable.
